Hey there! I'm Aatreyee Chatterjee, but most people call me Rey. I’m a final-year Computer Science student who enjoys building software that doesn’t just work in theory, but holds up in the real world. I’m especially interested in how systems behave at scale, how they perform, how they fail, and how to make them more reliable.

My work sits at the intersection of software engineering and systems thinking. I enjoy owning projects end to end, designing architectures, working with databases, debugging production issues, and iterating on performance and reliability. I’m motivated by hard problems, the kind where understanding trade-offs, edge cases, and real-world constraints matters as much as writing clean code.

Beyond engineering, I’m a visual storyteller and a self-taught musician. Creative work has shaped how I think about software, with curiosity, empathy, and attention to detail.
